If it’s not bad enough that the people of Venezuela have to suffer the incorrigible Hugo Chavez, It seems they now have to deal with food shortages according to reports.

Chavez, a “collectivist throwback” does not seem to realise that his socialist policies are causing the problems faced by the Venezuelan people.

He claims that the ailing Fidel Castro is his ideological hero, which means the people of Venezuela can expect more food shortages and other hardships just as the Cuban people have had to bear for over 40 years now.

I’m left wondering how people like Chavez can gain power. Can’t people see through his rhetoric?
