Through my Lens – The Bounty of Nature in our backyard in The Bahamas

We’ve been seeing this hummingbird stopping quite frequently on our clothesline and not feeding on any of the flowers so we suspected there might be a nest.

And believe it or not there’s a nest in our mango tree!

If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you will see two beaks of baby hummingbirds. Sorry the shot is a little blurry. It was quite windy.

With any luck I’ll be able to get photos of the young birds in flight!

NB. These photos were taken before Noel and we’re hoping the nest and birds survived.
