Background

Grand Bahama is still a pioneer town. What was a vision in the 1950’s has grown to be vibrant and viable community. All infrastructure and services are in place and operating smoothly. However, there are still many opportunities available on this island. Consider this, the original developers planned for 250,000 people to comfortably live within the Freeport boundaries. Currently the population is only about 50,000. Therefore there are still acres and acres of serviced, but undeveloped land, plus many opportunities for industrial and retail ventures.

The Tour

This one day, intensive guided tour of the island will present to you real information for business and living opportunities on Grand Bahama Island.

On the tour, your host will be Christopher Lowe, President of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce. Your co-host and organiser is Leigh Lightbourn Termath, Publisher of Bahama Buy and Sell newspaper. They will be joined throughout the tour by key players in Grand Bahama who will give you the inside scoop of what you need to know to invest, operate a business and live in Grand Bahama. You will be able to meet representatives from many areas including real estate, marketing, and the Port Authority.
