Bryan Ferry – Song of the week – October 1, 2007

Bryan Ferry was the leader of the eccentric/eclectic 1970’s band Roxy Music. Some might say that Bryan Ferry was the eclectic/eccentric leader of the great 1970’s band, Roxy Music.

Whatever you feel about it, both Bryan Ferry and Roxy music have left an indelible mark on the music industry.

And Bryan Ferry has done it again with a new album titled Dylanesque.

When I first thought of blogging about him, I wanted to post one of my favourite songs by him called When she walks in the room, but having purchased Dylanesque, and thoroughly enjoying it, I thought I should share one of my picks from it.

Here’s Ferry’s version of Positively 4th Street.

Hope you enjoy it.

Visit his really cool web site by clicking here… and buy some of his work. It’s good stuff.

If you’re into music DVD’s, pick up Bryan Ferry, Live in Paris At Le Grand Rex – March 2000.
