Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina are brilliant artists in their own right, but together there is a certain musical chemistry that is extraordinary.

One of my favourite songs by them is Same Old Wine. The song speaks to the rhetoric of politicians and is most appropriate at this particular time as we are going to the polls to vote for a new government on May 2, 2007.

The following version of the song is from their Live: Sittin’ In Again album of a couple years back. It’s just over 8:00 minutes and is bluesy in nature, but worth the listen. The lyrics are particularly poignant.
