In case you haven’t noticed, I have taken a break from any type of commentary in the blog the last couple days and have posted a couple of photos.
Here is another one.
Is this bird a Poor Joe? If it is, what’s the proper name?

A friend called to say that this bird is a “Yellow Crowned Night Heron” and uses its beak to make handy work of crabs and that’s why you often see them on the sea shore.
