Freakonomics

by Rick Lowe

Steven D. Levitt (University of Chicago economist) and Stephen J. Dubner (writer for The New York Times and The New Yorker) have released an interesting study.

The liner notes indicate that the authors “show that economics is, at root, he study of incentives – how people get what they want, or need, especially when other people want or need the same thing.”

It says that Freakonomics “will literally redfine the way we view the modern world.”

Pick up a copy. It is worth the read.
