While the FNM’s battle for a leader is their internal business, the move for Mr. Ingraham’s comeback has been quite interesting to say the least.
Of course we can no longer claim a place at the FNM table, but hope that they can come out of their convention with a renewed spirit to get their Constituency associations going so they can be prepared for the next election whenever it is called.
The point all FNM’s should note, is that the ground work is their individual responsibility, not that of the leader. Without the hard work of the foot soldiers, the leader is almost irrelevant as s/he cannot do it alone.
The country deserves a united opposition party, not only for the possibility of winning the general election but to hold the present government’s feet to the fire – rather the torch!
